Doubleflo is my most elaborate project so far. For three years now, I have worked for Hemodia as a product designer and mechanical engineer to shape and develop an innovative arthroscopy pump. The final product is manufactured internally and is currently being distributed by one of the major players of the medical world, Smith and Nephew. Working on the Doubleflo pump has provided me with the opportunity to go through all the phases of the product’s design : need analysis, creative ideation, sketching, 3D modelling, 3D rendering, technical drawing, prototyping and exchanging with suppliers . In addition, as an integrated product designer in a mid-size company I was able to work closely with specialists in various fields (electronics, fluid mechanics, plastics processing, quality, regulatory... ). I also actively took part in product industrialisation, production, testing and continuous improvement.
